Both of total and extractable sugar quantities increased upon irrigation treatment itself by increasing cutoff duration, and it increased between treatments by increasing irrigation times. and the highest increasing was in the treatment (6 days irrigation time + 24 days cutoff).
5- the highest value of water use efficiency was in the treatment (6 days irrigation time + 24 days cutoff), so it reached (9.9 kg roots /m³, 2.3 kg dry matter /m³, 1.24 kg sugar /m³).

Ahmad AL-Jordi General Commission for Scientific Agricultural Research- Homs Research Center Al-Ba’th University, Faculty of Agriculture 2009 Abstract This study was conducted in Scientific Agricultural Researches Centre at Homs on monogerm sugar beet plant-Parade.
